Since Valentine’s Day is soon, I thought I would create an easy & sexy makeup look that anyone can wear, whether they have V-Day plans or not. Of course, I had to use the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette, because Valentine’s Day & chocolate go hand in hand! Keep reading (and watching) to see what I used:
For this look, I primed my eyes with the NARS Pro-Prime Eyeshadow Base & MAC Painterly Paint Pot to act as an even base that will make my shadow last all day. From the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette I created my look by using Divinity as a highlighter, Almond Truffle & Bordeaux as crease & inner corner colors, and lastly, I used Satin Sheets on a wet brush to make the lid pop. For eyeliner, I used KIKO Smart Eye Pencil in #815, which is a nice gunmetal shade that isn’t as dramatic as a black. For mascara, I used the new Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara on my lashes & It Cosmetics Tightline Mascara on my lower lashes. For the lips, I lined the entire lip with KIKO Precision Lip Pencil in #302, my favorite liner! On top, I applied Colourpop Lippie Stix in Brink, which is my favorite lip color by them. On the cheeks, I contoured with the INGLOT Contour Powders in #504 & 505, which are my go-tos. For blush, I used NARS Contour Blush in Paloma which is not too brightly colored and subtle enough to just give a bit of color. Lastly, I topped my cheekbones with the Charlotte Tilbury Gold Bar Highlight and also added some glow to my nose, cupids bow, chin, and to highlight above my brows.
Let me know what you would wear for Valentine’s Day- I like this look because it’s dramatic but not too dramatic. I’m definitely adding it into rotation!
