I did a lot of fun things in 2015 and I thought it would be nice to reflect on some of them before leaping into 2016. It’s good to reminisce on some of these moments & remember how good of a year 2015 was.
- Being featured in Elite Daily, Entertainment Tonight, Yahoo, and Brit + Co. for #RockTheCrop. I saw the backlash surrounding an O Magazine Editor saying girls with larger tummies shouldn’t wear crop tops, so I tweeted an old instagram photo of me wearing a crop top with the hashtag and didn’t think anything of it. Days later, people were congratulating me on my features and I had no idea! It was such a pleasant surprise to be featured for something so important.
- Vision Boards: I love making vision boards and had the chance to do them twice this year. They’re a small way to manifest goals and have them right in front of you by hanging them in your room. My friend Christina had a vision board party in the beginning of 2015, and then I made another board at Radical Skincare’s beach house event.

- I grew my nails out. A bit vain, sure, but I’ve never had long nails and always wanted to. I got my nails to be super long without using acrylics, but now I’m back at short nails because they started to break.P.S. this color is Sephora Formula X in Invincible
- Concerts: I went to a few awesome concerts this year. I went to see Courtney Love & Lana Del Rey with my dad and sister at the Hollywood Bowl because we love Hole. I went to a festival, Hard Summer, and saw Fetty Wap, Rae Sremmurd, and The Weeknd just to name a few. And then, more recently my sister and I saw Metro Station & Miley Cyrus at The Wiltern.

- Finding Good Cappuccinos in LA: After coming back from Italy at the end of 2014, it was my mission to find a cappuccino that compares to Italian ones in LA. I found a few great places and even got my own espresso machine to make my own.
- Visiting My Extended Family: I haven’t seen my extended family (grandparents, great aunt, aunt, uncle, and cousins) in around 7 years, so it was long overdue. Since they live on the opposite coast, it’s hard to go often, but hopefully we can make it more frequent than every 7 years…
- Seeing Jerome Bettis being Inducted Into The Pro Football Hall Of Fame: My siblings and dad and I went all the way to Ohio for the induction & Hall Of Fame Game because we’re hardcore Steelers fans. It was pretty awesome to see!

- Family Photos: We took a few great family photos this year. One on my sister’s birthday, one on father’s day and one on Thanksgiving. I consider family photos to mainly just be sibling photos because usually one of my parents is taking the photo.
- Having a few successful YouTube videos: I already did a blog on My Top 10 YouTube Videos of 2015 so I won’t elaborate- but this year I managed to improve on the amount of views my videos got, and I made some fun videos I really liked making.
- Ziplining In Catalina: I’ve always wanted to go to Catalina Island, and this year my family went for a day and it was so fun. I am afraid of heights so I don’t think I’d go Ziplining again, but it was cool to do. I think next time I’ll try Kayaking or just chilling by the beach. But, Catalina reminds me a lot of Capri or Positano in Italy, so it was a nice trip.

- Going to San Francisco: I’ve gone to San Francisco only a few times in my life, but I really like it. I went on a weekend trip with my now roommate, who’s from the area, so we were able to do a ton of fun stuff and get a lot of great photos.
- Seeing Art: I saw a lot of art while studying abroad, so I don’t get to do it much here. But, coincidentally, all of the memorable art I saw was at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh and a few Andy Warhols displayed at the LACMA, which I live close to.

- Seeing Nirvana’s Display at the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland, OH: I am a big Nirvana fan so I was excited to see their display at the museum whenever we went over the summer during our Hall Of Fame & Visiting Family trip. They had several cool concert posters, a guitar, and even Kurt Cobain’s Death Certificate.
- Spending Time With Friends: My social life is getting better and better and thankfully I’ve been spending more time hanging out with friends. I always considered myself to have very few friends, but now looking back my circle has grown a lot & I’m lucky to have the friends that I have.

- Moving into my own apartment: In July, I had the lucky opportunity to move in with my friend & it has done wonders for my self esteem, independence, and just life in general. I like living on my own a lot, and this is going to be the next step to me being completely independent and not need the support of my parents.
So, those are my favorite moments from 2015. What were yours? Share in the comments!
