Today I have a fun tutorial using Rimmel London’s Scandaleyes eye products. They challenged me to create a retro-inspired tomboy makeup look using the products they sent me, so that is what I created! Watch the tutorial & keep on reading for more info about the products (including swatches!).
First, I applied Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Paint in Rich Russet to my eyelids, blending it out for a seamless finish. I applied two layers because blending dulls the metallic finish a bit. I love the multidimensional color & it dries down nicely to last all day with a waterproof finish, even for oily lids!
Next, I highlighted my eyes using Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Stick in Witness White. Apply this to the inner corner of the eye to brighten it up. I blended it using a brush, but you can use your fingers as well. This creamy crayon glides on smoothly and gives a luminous glowy look!
I lined my eyes using Rimmel Scandaleyes Thick & Thin Eyeliner pen. This is a super innovative product because you can create both thick & thin lines using the chiseled tip. I drew on a thin line and then smudged it out using Shadow Stick in Blackmail to make my look edgier.
I finished off my eyes using my favorite product, Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara. This mascara gives me my “perfect lash look.” It both volumizes and lengthens lashes. The hourglass shaped brush helps give a wide-eyed look reminiscent of the 60’s mod era.
If you’re looking to achieve a mod look at a retro price, definitely check out these products! I am impressed! Thanks to Rimmel for giving me the opportunity to try them out!
