Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
I was recently offered to test out Wantable, a subscription services that features makeup, accessories, and intimates. I thought the website was pretty cool because there was a quiz that asks your product preferences to base what to put in your box…and in my experience it was right on point! I was also really impressed with the shipping- I got it 4 days after ordering! This box features 4-5 full size items for $36 for a monthly subscription (or $40 for a one time purchase). In my quiz I put that I LOVE brows, highlighter, lip color, nail polish. I marked that I LIKE blush, lash products, and tools. I DISLIKE eyeliner, bronzer, eyeshadow, and complexion products. The cool thing about this service is that everyone’s boxes is different, depending on the quiz…but here’s what I got in my box & what I think of everything!
- 29 Cosmetics Reserve Moisturizing Lipstick in Spicy Finish ($25.00) – This lipstick was a shimmery terracotta color, which honestly isn’t my type of color. I think I got it because I said I like corals & oranges, but shimmery lipsticks weren’t an option on the quiz to like or dislike. I decided to give this to my aunt, who loves the color. I think it’s a lot more suited to more mature ladies in my opinion. I’d definitely like to try this brand out in the future, though.
- Michael Marcus Prime Foundation Brush ($36.00)– I haven’t tried anything from Michael Marcus before, so I was excited to see this brush in the box. Unfortunately I don’t really use that type of brush often, so I’ll probably hand it on over to someone who will get more use out of it. This brush alone makes up the entire price of the box, what a great deal!
- Color Club Nail Polish in Baldwin Blues ($8.00)– It’s always nice to get a new nail color. This shade is a dark teal, perfect for this time of year! I haven’t worn it yet, but I love Color Club polishes- I’ll make sure to post a review once I wear it!
- Skiin Instant Skin Tightener & Line Filler Sample– I didn’t care for this sample because I didn’t like the scent, but it’s always nice to get an extra sample in boxes.
- Lise Watier Feline Waterproof Mascara in Black ($23)-I was most excited about this mascara in my box because I have been wanting to try Lise Watier products for a really long time! This was definitely my favorite out of everything in the box. I didn’t find it to be super waterproof, because after a long day of wearing it (on both my lower and upper lashes) I had a bit of a raccoon eye look, so I only wear it on my upper lashes now. I think it gives an amazing curl that lasts all day!
I wish I had received a brow product or a highlighter in this box, so I think next time I would put more products in the dislike section of my box to guarantee that. Overall the box had a $92 value for only $40…that’s over 50% off! What a great deal. I would definitely get this box again, but I wouldn’t do a monthly subscription because it’s pretty darn expensive, but I’m glad that it’s actually worth the price!
