I recently heard that Bethenny Frankel’s beauty line was coming to CVS after only being exclusive to WalMart (which sucked because I don’t have WalMart), so I was excited to pick something up. My CVS only had a few items, but the one that attracted me the most was their Cleansing Facial Cloths. These were about $5.79 for 25, which was kind of a lot in my opinion, but there are some that retail for more…I’m just used to my $14.99 pack of 150 from Costco I guess. These facial cloths have Aloe and Cucumber in them, along with chamomile and willow bark extract. I use these to remove my makeup, and I am LOVING them. They take off every trace of makeup (even my stubborn mascara that was a lot harder to remove with my other wipes) and leave my skin feeling soft and moisturize, AND NOT GREASY! That is my biggest facial wipe pet peeve. I don’t want a greasy face! To me, these smell like watermelon, but I’m not really sure what they’re supposed to smell like. I would definitely recommend you guys to check these out. I love Bethenny and now I love her products! Fun fact: I went to the first taping of her new talk show over a year ago…so basically it was never shown but it was still fun! I’ve also met her…and her book is awesome. Okay, enough rambling! That’s about it 🙂
Tangerine Tuesday #8: Topshop Lip Stick in Hedonist with Swatches
Topshop, an amazingly trendy store based in the UK also has their own makeup line that I’ve been lusting over for quite a while. I’ve had this since April when I went to New York, and I’m obsessed. It’s chubby-pencil stick makes it perfect for application anywhere. Of course I have the bright orange, called Hedonist. I’ve got to say, that’s a clever little name for this color- it’s definition is “pursuit or devotion to pleasure.” And I am definitely a hedonist when it comes to beauty!
These Lip Sticks cost $15 and can be found on Topshop’s website or at their retail stores.
It’s basically a perfect orange- matte and pigmented. I also like to use this as a base for some lipsticks that are sheerer with a glossy finish. Thank God Topshop is coming to Los Angeles!
Sally Hansen Ionic Indigo Magnetic Nail Polish Swatch
I got this nail polish in my Influenster Summer Beauty Vox Box that I blogged about here, and I wasn’t too excited about the color, but I ended up really liking it. I’ve tried only one magnetic nail polish before and I found it kind of hard, but Sally Hansen made it super easy. The bottle has a removable magnetic cap with a cuticle guide so you do not ruin your nail polish with the magnet. The other reason that it is great is that it shows the design pretty much immediately after placing it over your nail!
It looks great, don’t you think? Thanks Influenster and Sally Hansen!

Metallic Sponge Ombre Nail Tutorial (Silver, Blue, and Green)
Sponge Ombre nails are a great way to get a trendy look easily. I recently received some I.C.E. nail polishes from Style21.com to do blog posts and tutorials with, and as soon as I got them I brainstormed this idea (along with a few others, but if you have ideas let me know in the comments!).
I used Pearl Silver, Ocean Wave, and Pearl Jungle to achieve this look, which took under 10 minutes per hand. The polishes applied really easily, even though they are only $0.79 cents a bottle!
Please watch the tutorial to learn how to do this look…and I hope you liked it!

NOTD: Essie Penny Talk (Mirror Metallics) Swatch
Lately this nail polish, a recent launch from Essie, has been causing a craze with nail bloggers and junkies alike. A rose gold nail polish? PERFECT! These have been raved about for being streak-free metallics, which is what mainly drew me to this polish. I also saw it on BEAUTEZINE, one of my favorite blogs…so I knew I had to try it out.
I picked this up at CVS for a little over $8.00. I found it in a bin…no joke. I guess that’s why I was able to find it, since it wasn’t actually displayed…
This polish is a gorgeous rose gold…despite the name, don’t worry about it being coppery. It’s definitely rose gold…slightly lighter than a shiny new penny.
When I was applying it, it had a little streaking, but once it dries after topcoat, that all goes away. If you have nails with a lot of ridges it may not look the best, so I am jealous of all of you with perfect flat nails! Penny Talk applies in a perfect 2 coats.
This polish wears pretty well also, I typically get a big chip just one day after applying a nail polish, but not with Penny Talk. I just have tip wear and a few minor chips here and there.
Isn’t it just gorgeous? Hurry and run to where you buy your Essie polishes and grab this one!
