This weekend I headed to Beverly Hills for the inaugural Bloom Summit at the Beverly Hilton, a wellness and beauty retreat presented by Neocell and New Bloom Media. I got to bring my sister along to join me, which I always love, because events like these are best with company!
The Bloom Summit is a one-day event geared towards those who want to immerse themselves in wellness education, pampering, and meeting brands that help sustain a non-toxic lifestyle. I did a quick pass through the event as I had another event at the same time, but I was able to get a lot of treats! There were fitness classes, b-12 shots and vitamin IVs, a DIY scrub bar, massage, wellness education, healthy food samples, and much more. Here are a few of my favorites:
The Nenergy boosts & vitamin infusion are something I’ve always wanted to try. I got a quick push of the fluid while my sister was braver than me and did a mobile IV. So cool! They’re located in Brentwood, and I really want to stop by to learn more and get some more boosts. I don’t recall which boost they gave us, but they did say it would be good for hair and nails too. I did feel quite a burst of energy from this, having not had any coffee in the morning. I really felt great.
The PlusCBD Oil brand has been a favorite of mine since discovering them a few years back at Expo West. I love using CBD for pain relief, cramps, and to calm myself of any anxiety. We got a few samples of their spray and balm, which I already love, but the CBD soft gels are new to me and I’m excited to put them to the test! My sister, who doesn’t typically use CBD, as she prefers kratom strains, started using the products and loves them – the spray aided a sore throat she had and made her feel less sick. Plus, the balm helps with her occasionally sore knee.
Last but not least, my favorite dairy alternative, Kite Hill, was there! We sampled some yogurt parfaits made with their almond milk yogurt. I still love my soy yogurt more, but Kite Hill makes the best dairy free cream cheese & soft cheese that I’ve tried. This is especially helpful to me since I randomly became lactose intolerant last year. I still dabble in dairy, but I try to cut out as much as I can that I’ve found good alternatives for.
This isn’t even the tip of the iceberg- there were also great panels, free lunch, etc. that I missed out on since I had to jet. The sponsors of the event were amazing, and the gift bag was UNREAL. Some brands featured included That’s It., MyChelle Dermaeuticals, Derma E, Zoya, Saffron Road, Pilates Platinum, Beauty Collection, Poo-Pourri, OXO, and SO MUCH MORE. I haven’t tried much of the products from the gift bag aside from the Think Sport Deodorant. I’ve been having so many issues with deodorant lately (allergic reactions, smelling bad, etc.), but I’ve been using this one for a few days and everything is FIXED. I never thought twice about using a natural deodorant because I thought I’d smell terrible, but this one changed my mind and life.
Bloom Summit Tickets are as little as $20, so keep this in mind for next year – you’re not going to want to miss it!
