Recently I reviewed both Wet n Wild Vamp it up and MAC Cyber lipsticks…I thought they were pretty similar after all so I decided I would compare them in a blog post for you guys to see. These are both dark nearly black plum lipsticks that are going to be big for fall and winter.

First, Wet n Wild’s Vamp it up is definitely a cheaper version. At only $1.99 this is a great purchase if you’re afraid you won’t like this dark lip trend.

And here is MAC’s version, Cyber, retailing at $15!

I definitely think that MAC Cyber is a lot less pigmented…it’s a sheerer formula and isn’t matte like Vamp it up. Vamp it up is a lot closer to black, also. I swatched these side by side on my hand to help notice any differences also.

What I draw from this is that Wet n Wild’s is very matte and closer to black. MAC’s Cyber has a more purple tone and is a little bit sheerer with a sheen finish, and costs a lot more. I’d say I personally prefer Vamp it up just because it’s such a good deal! I’m thinking Cyber is a great day lipstick (worn sheer) and then change to Vamp it up at night! What do you think?
