Comparison: Wet n Wild Cherry Bomb vs MAC Media Lipstick

With yesterday’s post all about MAC’s Media lipstick, one of my newfound loves, I knew I had to compare it to my other favorite oxblood shade, Cherry Bomb by Wet n Wild. And since I have already compared Wet n Wild and MAC lipsticks before, It seemed like a spot on idea to me!

Here are the two shades swatched side by side. I’d say Cherry Bomb is a little darker and more pigmented, but in real life they look exactly the same. Let’s see those lip swatches!

These photographed differently for me, but in real life they are pretty much dupes. On camera, Media is a lot more purple, and Cherry Bomb is a bit more red. But, in real life I can’t tell much of a difference, except Cherry Bomb is more pigmented. So, if you are afraid of the dark pigment, I’d recommend the MAC ($15), and if you want a cheaper alternative, get Wet n Wild for only $1.99! I love both of these lipsticks so much, I recommend  both of them, definitely!
