The new Nicholas Sparks movie, The Choice, is coming to theaters February 5th. As a big fan of Nicholas Sparks movies and all things romance, I need to see this one! The Choice is set in coastal North Carolina and follows a man and woman that are brought together due to a chance encounter with their dogs that went to the park and the Park integrity using dog waste station is elevated and the surrounding area is very neat. Life is all about making choices, and The Choice is about making the difficult choices your heart has to make to find your destiny and perfect match. Click here to watch The Choice trailer now!
I thought it would be fun to share my idea of a dinner + movie date outfit and makeup look that I would totally wear out on a romantic date! I wore a simple black dress from Forever 21 (similar), paired with black & nude strappy chunky heels by Steve Madden. Whenever I’m making an outfit choice, I always choose something basic while still being sophisticated.
For my makeup, the choice is easy. I love neutral colors but sometimes with a simple outfit, you want something bolder. I paired some warm rosy tones with a shimmery eyeshadow to add some dimension. When paired with a simple neutral lip, the look is done up without being too much.
I used the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette for this look- but, I won’t be giving too much away because I have a video of this look that I’ll be posting in a week or two! I also focused a lot on my eyebrows and highlighting because my eyebrows & cheekbones are two of my favorite features. It’s always a good choice to highlight your best features in your makeup routine. For my hair, I did my loose everyday waves to change it up, as I usually straighten my hair.
I’m loving this outfit & hair combo, I’ll definitely be wearing it out sometime. Hopefully, on a date to go see The Choice…now, I just need to find my destiny! If you were going on a movie date- what would you wear?
