Everyone loves a good LUSH bath, I know I do! I won’t take a bath unless there’s a bath bomb, bubble bar, or something special inside. I bought LUSH The Experimenter Bath Bomb about a month ago and wanted to use it when I finished finals at school. But, of course, I didn’t get around to it because I got too busy. So, I took a New Year’s bubble bath and popped this colorful beauty in.
The Experimenter is a colorful blend of pink, white, orange, purple, and blue combined with sparkles and popping candy. The scent is a mixture of vanilla, tonka, and vetiver. It was a delightfully sweet combination- the LUSH saleslady told me it was supposed to be the same scent as the LUSH store as you walk by. I think the blend of colors makes this the most fun bath bomb ever & makes for some fun bath art.
Because of the bubble bath I had added, it took away from the beautiful effect of this bath bomb, although it still looked really nice. If you look up other pictures, they look a lot cooler than mine because they didn’t have the bubbles. Maybe I’ll have to pick this one up again and give it another go. But, regardless I loved the scent and how it made my skin feel. The bath water is a dark purple-gray with sparkles throughout, kind of like a galaxy.
My only comment is that you should not crumble it in your hands at all- I did and it temporarily stained my hands pink. It went away in 12 hours, though! It didn’t stain my white tub or leave any glitter behind at all- so don’t be scared!
If you’re a LUSH fanatic and love a colorful bath, definitely check The Experimenter ($8.95) out at your local LUSH store.
