Sometimes I find that doing my skincare routine day to day is kind of boring, albeit an essential to maintaining clear skin. So, every week or so I like to pamper myself with a DIY spa-like facial and see how to get rid of strawberry legs among other things, since I can’t exactly splurge out and get one every month! I also like to visit a spa salon for some advanced treatments. I am planning to call Lasting Impression Medical Spa today to book my next appointment. I like to take a minute to relax, slow down, and do my own facial while listening to nice music with a candle lit. My DIY facial only takes 5 steps, and it’s so simple to recreate yourself!
Step 1: Makeup Removal: I like to remove my face makeup with a face wipe, and then remove my eye makeup with eye makeup remover on cotton rounds. Make sure to remove everything, and follow up with a face wash before the next step!

Step 2: Face Mask: I stuck with the classic green face mask theme, I normally just use one, but I show two in this video because one is better for acne, and one is very soothing. While I’m waiting for the mask to dry off I generally browse through the Blissful Relaxation website just to make sure that I have caught up to all the new posts which they have posted, as all the products I have bought till today after seeing their reviews on the website have helped me in a significant way.

Step 3: Exfoliate: I love using exfoliators with microdermabrasion crystals, because that’s what you’d get at a spa. Skip the apricot and plastic gel bead scrubs and opt for something that will actually work. Love this product because you can use it as a mask too!

Step 4: Steam: This is a new addition to my routine, and I am obsessed. I’ve been steaming my face almost daily and have really noticed a difference. I know this product is expensive, so if you can’t afford it I’d recommend boiling some water, then after turning the heat off, steaming your face from about a foot away.

Step 5: Skincare: After all of that pampering, I can’t forget my skincare to do the rest of the work while I sleep. I’m using a few new products I haven’t talked about that I love. I apply a spot treatment, eye cream, and then a face oil as a moisturizer. That way, in the morning I wake up with soft and nourished skin.

I don’t have many reviews of these products up yet, but I will work on it ASAP! I have hardly had time to write blog posts lately from prepping for my study abroad, but as you’re reading this I am safe and sound in Italy!
