This is long overdue, but I’m an official college graduate! On June 16th, tons of FIDM students, faculty, and family trekked to Staples Center in Downtown LA to watch us graduate. For those wondering, my degree is an Associates of the Arts in Beauty Industry Merchandising and Marketing. My education means a lot to me because it is so specialized, I also want to give thanks on vce tutors melbourne for teaching and guiding me in every academic situations, And now I am prepared to work in the beauty industry- which I wouldn’t have discovered if it wasn’t for YouTube or blogging. A month ago I posted a conundrum I had about what dress to wear…the funny thing is, I wore none of the dresses I had chosen. Everyone recommended a peplum dress from ASOS which was sold out. So, when I went shopping at H&M I found a similar dress, and I loved it. Check out the little gallery below for some personal photos including my personalized mortarboard, the dress, the graduation, etc.! Congrats to everyone else who graduated as well!
Influenster Summer Beauty Vox Box
Influenster is a great FREE service that allows anyone to sign up, earn badges, and receive VoxBoxes to review. This is my 3rd VoxBox and I’ve got to say, they get better and better with time. I will probably do posts on some of these products if I see fit, but I really just wanted to post this to show you guys and let you know to sign up so you can receive boxes also!
I’ve already tried the shampoo, conditioner, and the hand creme, and I’m loving them so far! I love finding new products through Influenster!
Here’s my video on this box:

Target Summer Beauty Bag Review
I finally received my Target Summer Beauty Bag, and I couldn’t be happier! If you are unfamiliar with this, Target Style on Facebook releases these bags every once in a while, so be sure to like the page to get a bag next time! These bags are filled with samples of beauty products, all for FREE! For this bag, I did post a notifcation when they were accepting people to claim their bags, so I will try to do that whenever I catch the next one! Ready to see what was in this bag?
This bag included a ton of hair products, which was weird, but hey, I’ll take it! I can’t wait to try everything out!
The products included:
Aveeno Living Color Shampoo and Conditioner
Tresemme Split Remedy Shampoo and Conditioner
Garnier Fructis Color Shield Shampoo and Conditioner
Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen SPF 70
Coupon Book
So there is a lot of hair stuff in this, especially for color treated hair…which I don’t have. I’m find with using them anyway, it’s just different! The Lip Butter sample kind of makes me laugh since it’s just in a little packet! I’m really excited to try the sunscreen, though. For a free beauty bag, who can complain?
Let me know if you got a beauty bag from Target before and how you liked it!
Stars and Stripes Nails for 4th of July Featuring Julep America
Happy 4th of July everyone! I decided to do a patriotic manicure for the 4th of July since I got Julep America in my Maven box this month. Julep did a great job with their America polish- a red micro glitter with silver and blue glitter of varying sizes, along with some silver stars added in. I found that it covered pretty well in 2 coats. I did this over a nude manicure because I thought it wouldn’t interfere with the colors.
Unfortunately, this manicure didn’t last too long…somehow my nude “underwear” polish wasn’t completely dry (after 24 hours) and allowed for the polish to peel off, revealing a sticky nude layer underneath…it wasn’t cute!
This manicure was still very cute…the nail art striper is really easy to use, I used it for the star as well without any issues! I think this is a really cute nail look for the 4th.
So, what are you all wearing on your nails for the 4th? Share in the comments below!
Have a happy and safe 4th of July!
Happy 4th of July! Patriotic Nails From 2011
Hi everyone! I hope you all have a safe and fun 4th of July. I thought I would show off last year’s nails, from this blog post. This manicure included red, white, and blue water marbled nails with an accent nail of the American flag. It isn’t my best work (those polishes stained my skin hardcore!), but I still loved how they turned out.
Let me know what’s on your nails for today!
