I don’t wear green nail polish that much, but when I saw Lime Crime‘s nail polishes at IMATS, I knew I wanted to get Pastelchio, because it looked like a wearable green, and I was right! It is the perfect shade of green for spring or summer. It’s bright, but light, if that makes sense. I did nail art featuring 2 other shades from this line, Crema de Limon and Lavendairy, here. For this polish, I just did a plain ‘ol mani and I’m glad I did! It was kind of thick, but 2 coats gave good coverage and any unevenness was solved by using topcoat. I’d definitely recommend them!

Drip Nails Inspired by WAH
WAH Nails is a salon in East London that has turned heads throughout the world with their trendy designs. I follow them on instagram and always see their mix n match nails, sometimes featuring a drippy pattern, like this photo. I’ve been wanting to try it lately, so I pulled out my Nails Inc. Kensington (because it’s fitting to use a British polish inspired by a British salon, right?). I used a nail art dotting tool and hand did the whole design over my bare nails. After using Seche Vite, I really liked how it turned out! It was a little hard because this polish in particular got gloopy really fast so I had to add new dots often. This has been one of my most complimented-on manicure in a while! I got 2 compliments in one night- What an achievement! 😉
What is the last nail art you tried?
Fragrance Friday: Slatkin & Co. Pumpkin Cupcake Candle from Bath & Body Works
I have a new favorite candle! Bath and Body Works recently came out with their fall line of home fragrance, and although I was planning on skipping, I couldn’t resist checking them out. I was immediately drawn to their Pumpkin Cupcake scent, because I love pumpkin scents in the fall and winter. I think this is actually my favorite Pumpkin scent that BBW has come out with! This scent is described as a spiced pumpkin cupcake with rich buttercream and frosted ginger. To me it just smells like an uber-sweet pumpkin pie, with a pinch of spicy ginger. This makes me so happy and excited for fall- I must make my own pumpkin cupcakes now, inspired by this fragrance! I also got it in a wallflower plugin, so it is currently scenting up my room with fall yumminess! It is very strong, in a good way! I’d definitely recommend checking this scent out for your fall home scent!
