Admittedly, I don’t read a ton of books. So, when I do read, I almost think it’s an even bigger deal. I was recently sent fellow blogger Luvvie Ajayi’s new book, “I’m Judging You: The Do Better Manual,” a
series of personal anecdotes on life, culture, social media, and fame.
Since I don’t have a ton of time to read, I’ve been picking out some sections that pique my interest to read, instead of diving into the whole thing.
Some of my favorites include “Why Must You Suck at Friendships?,” “When Baehood Goes Bad,” and “#Hashtag #I #Hate #Your #Hashtag #Abuse.”
The thing I like most about the book is that it doesn’t read like a book, it feels like a conversation. Sure, I’m on the other side in my pajamas in bed, but I’m laughing, nodding, right along with Luvvie throughout.
Check out “I’m Judging You” at bookstores near you. Besides the fact that it’s a great read that is not all fluff- there is great insight on race, women’s issues, and basic everyday life.
