TART Restaurant has been on my wishlist for a while since I moved to the area last summer. It’s situated close to the Grove & Fairfax district which are both cool places to be during a free weekend. TART is a part of The Farmer’s Daughter Hotel (which looks super cute, staycation anyone?) and serves traditional southern comfort food for brunch & dinner.
I went there for brunch last weekend with my friend & fellow blogger Violet Banks. The decor in there is super cute, both inside and out, but we chose to sit outside as it was a nice spring day.
I ordered their french toast with fresh berries and whipped cream along with an iced latte. Honestly all of this was AMAZING. I’m totally a brunch person so I loved all of this. If I went with a large group I’d totally partake in their punch bowl cocktails that look like a ton of fun. The food isn’t ridiculously priced either, I’d say for food and drink it’ll cost you under $20, unless you get alcohol of course.
If you’re visiting the area definitely check out TART for a laid back meal that’ll be better than any of the restaurants at the Grove (and likely with a shorter wait). I’ll totally be going back!
