Proactiv Refining Mask Review

Proactiv Refining Mask

Proactiv‘s Refining Mask is probably my #1 mask I’ve ever used- it’s my holy grail! I’ve been using this for quite a while- this is my 3rd tube of it! The thing that makes this mask so amazing is that it is a sulfur mask. Sulfur is a great skincare ingredient for acne, it’s great for drying it up!

I like to use this as a mask over my entire face, or just on my problem areas, depending on how I’m feeling. This is also great to use as an overnight mask treatment over your acne. It is kind of hard to wash off, but it is so worth it! The mask also has tea tree oil, which I also love for acne, I even used to use it straight-up when I had really bad acne (although I wouldn’t recommend that anymore because it’s pretty harsh).

Fragrance Friday: Bath and Body Works Beach Cabana Candle

Bath and Body Works Slatkin & Co. Beach Cabana Candle

Even though summer is officially over, I still like to use some summer scents, because the weather in California takes a while to catch up with the rest of the world. I got this Beach Cabana candle from Bath & Body Works for 50% off, so I thought it was worth a try. Lately I’ve been obsessed with orange blossom scents, which this has, so I knew I had to get it. This is how BBW describes this candle:

Relax in the cool shade with sweet jasmine, orange blossom and a hint of musk.

I’d say it’s pretty dead on. It’s very fresh to me, so the musk is very light! I’d love more orange blossom though…here’s to hoping they come out with an orange blossom candle!

What’s your favorite candle?

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in Katricia Swatch

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in Katricia

A while ago I randomly decided that I wanted to wear OCC’s lip tar in Katricia. It’s an outrageous bold purple lip color that lasts forever. This shade is actually discontinued, but their lip tar in “Belladonna” is very similar. The OCC packaging is actually different now because I’ve had my tube for a while, but it’s still an awesome product. Hopefully I’ll get gutsy enough to wear this out! I think I want to use it to make a plum ombre lip for fall. What do you think?

Isn’t it fab?

Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist Review

Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist

I recently won a giveaway from Out in a Pout for some Jurlique product, and I couldn’t wait to try them since they’re a new brand to me! This product is their Rosewater Balancing Mist. I’ve just gotten into using facial mists this summer since it’s always hot, and because I was given one to try out. I don’t know if I’m a huge fan of  rose, but I decided to test it and see!

The rose scent isn’t too bad, but my favorite part of the product has nothing to do with the mist. The bottle’s mister is amazing because it is a very fine mist and I don’t feel like I have big water droplets of my face! It’s the best! I think after I run out, I’m going to keep the glass bottle and refill it with other mists.

I’d definitely recommend you to check this product out! I’m a fan!
