Gold, Silver, and Bronze nails featuring Essie Good As Gold, No Place Like Chrome, and Penny Talk
In honor of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, I thought it would be cool to do a nail look inspired by the medals. My mom got me some of the Essie Mirror Metallics collection, which are the perfect shades to use for this manicure. I already swatched Penny Talk, and it’s definitely one of my favorites. I used the Born Pretty Store striping tape that I used in this blog post to create this look, placing the tape, painting, then taking it off. So, underneath is just my bare nail but I think it looks fine. I totally forgot to do something underneath it!
I did gold, then silver, then bronze because of course, that’s the order of the places! I think it looks really cool, but the tape didn’t go as cleanly as I had hoped.
That just about does it! It looks really cool! Are you doing any nail art inspired by the Olympics?
