Failed Fall Color Nails for Thanksgiving

I thought it’d be cute to do some fall colored nails for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, because I was hanging out with my roommates and a friend, I was not staying still and it got a little messed up! :(

Catrice Apropros Apricot

I still decided to post it (duh), but here are the colors used:
Catrice Apropros Apricot
OPI He’s my Boo
Essie Hello Yellow

Anyways, that’s about it! What’s on your nails for Thanksgiving? (By the way, I hope all of my followers have an amazing Thanksgiving!)

Mavala Bronze Green Swatch

This is another one from my birthday swap with Elodie from Accropolish. This is a Swiss brand, so I feel special to have it in the U.S.! This color is called Bronze Green and is similar to Chanel’s Paradoxal because it has a hidden shimmer in the cream base. Although the shimmer is visible in the bottle, I couldn’t detect it on my nails.

Mavala Bronze Green

This is a great fall color that was opaque in 2 coats. I love the color, but it didn’t last that long on me, which was a bummer. The bottles are cute and little. I’d love to try more from this brand!

Fragrance Friday: LUSH Bath Bombs (Golden Wonder and Cinders)

I absolutely LOVE bath bombs, and occasionally splurge on some to treat myself after a long day. I recently got 2 from LUSH: Golden Wonder and Cinders. I wanted to have some warm scents since it’s close to the holidays. I actually think I want to make my own bath bombs as holiday presents (what do you think? should I do a video on them?)

LUSH Golden Wonder, $6.95

LUSH Golden Wonder is a beautiful bath bomb in the shape of a christmas gift! It is scented with orange, lime, cognac, and gardenia. Although I smashed this one to make it last longer, if I get it again I’d probably use it in 1 bath because it has surprise colors in the middle! (blue, pink, orange) and it was really fun to see! When I used the half with mostly blue, I had a deep blue green bath with visible golden shimmer throughout. I don’t see the shimmer transferring to my skin, though. This bath bomb was really nice and I loved the scent.

LUSH Cinders, $4.95

LUSH Cinders is a gorgeous bath bomb featuring pop rocks on the top to give a real fireplace-like feel to your bath! Although I couldn’t hear the pop rocks (likely due to the fact that the water was on), it is a great addition! This one is scented with cinnamon, orange, almond, and gardenia. It’s a gorgeous relaxing scent!

How to Make Your Bath Bombs Last

Since bath bombs can be pretty pricy, it’s hard to justify buying one for a one time use. I like to smash them by throwing them on the ground. By doing this, I can get at least 2 or 3 uses out of them with great results.

British E-Tailer Very.com launches in U.S.!

A new brand is coming to us Americans, straight from the UK! Very.com is a fashion online store where you can find women and men’s clothing (and even plus sized for women!) Now we can have British style no matter where we live! I think this site is pretty similar to ASOS.com, just smaller.

I definitely recommend you guys to check the site out, and if you like anything, put your email in and you can get 20% off! How awesome is that? They have some great pieces, so definitely check them out! I am actually really liking this So Fabulous Colored Blazer, and may have to buy it!

Fragrance Friday: Beyonce Pulse Perfume

Silly me almost forgot to post today’s Fragrance Friday! I’m sorry! <3

In my goody bag at The Beautylish Beauty Social, I got Beyonce Pulse. I was so excited because I absolutely love fragrance and this was a great opportunity to try a new one!

What does it smell like?

Top Notes: Pear Blossoms, Blue Curacao, and frosted Bergamot.
Middle Notes: Bluebird Orchid, delicate Peony, and midnight blooming Jasmine.
Base Notes: opulent Madagascar Vanilla, seductive Musk, and sensual precious Woods.

What I Think:

I really love this perfume! Beyonce did a great job! It was funny, though, because I kept storing it the wrong way until I looked it up online! I would always store it by the bottle, not by the lid. But, you store it on the metal cap, upside down. It would always fall over whenever I kept it the other way, and the correct way it is fine. I think the bottle design is very unique and cool! I would definitely recommend you guys to try this out, and let me know in the comments if you like it!
